Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Course 

The Richmond Amateur Radio Club is offering a course for those persons interested in obtaining their amateur radio certification.  This licence will permit successful students to own and operate their own amateur radio station.

Place:                        South Arm Community Centre - Board Room

Course Duration:   October 2, 2010 to November 27, 2010 Seven Saturdays for instruction and one for discussion and the government examination (There is no class on October 9).

Time:                         9:00am to 12:30pm (8:45am on October 2nd for registration)

Study Material:       Study Manual for the Basic Exam 8th Edition. Students need to bring a calculator (scientific calculator preferred, but not essential).

Course Fee:            Ninety-five dollars ($95). This fee includes all study material, the use of the South Arm Community Centre, and the Industry Canada examination.
